The DenkBar is an idyllic cultural and gastronomic establishment in the middle of St.Gallen’s old town. There is a room for the book presentation of the MatriArchiv. In addition to a basic stock of matriarchal literature, you find a themed shelf with changing focuses. These books, films, CDs and magazines can be browsed on site or borrowed at home, free of charge and simply by filling out a rental card.
The DenkBar cooperative was founded on December 12, 2012 by committed women. The culture bar focuses on politics, culture and society since the opening in November 2016. Feminist topics are not neglected, so the matriarchal literature fits very well. The restaurant is also suitable for various occasions on matriarchy topics.
